Here it Comes – The Nissan Cube

The upcoming 2010 Nissan Cube will be Nissan’s first entry into the “MMPV” or Miniature Multi-Purpose Vehicle market in North America.  With rumored 37mpg fuel efficiency, cabin space equal to that of many full size sedans or small SUV’s, cute boxy styling, and a price tag expected to be quite low, this new offering from Nissan North America is sure to be a huge hit!

Trial By Fire / NICOfest – Drifting at Firebird!

TBF brought night drifting to Phoenix this past weekend! This has been a yearly tradition for a few years now and it’s always a blast. This year was no different, another night full of non-stop action. All were welcomed to hit the track and try their hand at drifting. There was a great mix of beginner, intermediate, and advanced drivers, and all were eager to have fun and destroy a few tires.

Apparently the Department of Homeland Security has been monitoring cars without DOT bond releases.  Whether it’s in response to the rash of wannabe “importers” we’ve been calling out, or just routine business as usual, there have been several siezures in the past couple weeks.

Skylines seized, forced to export.
Folks with “state legal” (non-Federalized) Skylines might want to lay low, as they’re requiring immediate exportation of vehicles in violation.
